Few things are as memorable as time away at a tournament. The Rangers SC encourages all their teams to broaden the soccer experience by attending as many tournaments as possible.

The MSYSA State Cup tournament is unique in that it adds a minimum of three games to your regular season by holding them over multiple weekends. Successful teams achieve national recognition and notoriety. All premier teams are required to participate but the Rangers SC recommend ALL their eligible teams participate.

Ask others about tournaments you are interested in or share your own
tournament experiences.
- If you are travelling out-of-state the team will require a permit to travel. Consider a blanket permit if the team is going to more than one out-of-state tournament.
- Funds generated by RSC fundraisers may be used toward tournaments.
- Teams are expected to pay for the travel expenses of coaches who do not have children playing on the same team or going to the same tournament.
- Book your hotel rooms early.
- Be sure to ask the hotel if they will offer a free room for the coach.
