Select Soccer is for boys & girls from U8-U19. The Rangers SC participates in the Grand Valley Soccer Association (GVSA).

The following is included in the Rangers Select program:

League Fees (I.E. GVSA, MSPSL, etc.)
MSYSA Fees (Member of USYS & USSF)
Coach's Pay
Training Twice a Week in Season
Club Camp (Fall AND Spring Teams Only)
Practice Fields
Game Fields
Maintenance
Equipment
Referees Fees

Select teams play in their normal season against other teams participating in the GVSA. While most of the teams are in the greater Grand Rapids area and West to the lakeshore, some teams are as far North as Cadillac.

Starting at U12 there is also the Elite division in the GVSA. While most of the teams are in the greater Grand Rapids area there are some teams as far south as St. Joseph, MI and as far north as Cadillac.

Individual teams may also opt to do additional indoor league play, tournaments, training, etc. The costs associated with these activities would be in addition to the club fees and handled by the teams themselves. The travelling expenses of non-parent coaches for Select, Academy, Elite, and Premier teams for activities beyond what is included in their fees (see above) are to be covered by the teams themselves.

Uniforms are not included in the fee’s and are ordered separately at registration they include:
         2 Short Sleeve Jerseys(blue & white)
         2 Pair Game Socks
         1 Pair of Shorts
         $115.00 +tax

The cost for the 2010-2011 Select teams are:

         U8-U10    Fall & Spring          $385
         U11-U12 Fall & Spring          $435
         U13-U14 Fall & Spring          $485
         U15-U19 Fall or Spring         $295

Unless other arrangements have been made, players will not receive their player’s cards, which are necessary for game play, until they have paid in full or are in accordance with a payment plan.
