MSYSA has some excellent information about becoming a referee. However, for local classes and information your best source is WMSOA (the West Michigan Soccer Officials Association).
Individuals wanting to officiate for the Rangers Soccer Club are required to register prior to each new season. In other words, if you wish to referee in the Fall, submit your registration months in advance of the Fall season. If you wish to referee again in the Spring, you must register AGAIN, months in advance of the Spring season. The sooner you register the more likely you will be to receive game assignments.
Each week emails will be sent detailing the referee schedule for the rest of the season.
IMPORTANT - You must acknowledge receipt of your game assignment no less than 4 days prior to the game date or you will be replaced.
