The Jr. Rangers is entering year # 5 in 2011-2012 and has received much praise over the years. Numerous of our current travel players have graduated from this program specifically designed for the young athlete ages 5-9.
Although parents/players have several options when it comes to start playing soccer, none of them compare to the Jr. Rangers program. Our Rangers coaching staff will teach an age-appropriate curriculum. The Primary focus is to develop the necessary technical skills to succeed at a later stage. The coaching staff will encourage and praise each participant for its efforts and build confidence as well as passion for the game.
The Jr. Rangers practice twice a week for 1 hour and play modified scrimmages on Saturday mornings (8:00-10:00 am).
Games are played on Saturday mornings between 8:00 and 10:00 am at the 28th Ave. Ranger Complex.

COACHING
The Junior Rangers Soccer Club is proud to have some of the finest coaches in the Midwest training the children and empowering them to succeed. Each of our coaches bring a different dimension to the club which allows us to offer the best of fitness, tactical and technical training, and top-notch coaching skills. Training sessions are designed to challenge the players in a safe, comfortable and fun environment. The coaching program aims to develop younger players' flexibility, coordination and mental awareness. We focus on the technical and tactical capabilities that are required to play the game.
PRACTICE
Practice sessions are designed to be developmentally appropriate to the age group. The children will take part in practices that incorporate fundamental movement skills such as running, jumping, hopping, stretching, twisting, throwing and catching. More importantly, the players will learn to apply these skills with the soccer ball. Groups will consist of 8 to 10 players to ensure all players get the attention they deserve. The number of players within the group may increase as the players age and develop.
